OSA designed this 4,000 square foot community cultural center on the ground floor for the EastSide Arts Alliance and Affordable Housing Associates. The Center includes a small community theater, recording studio, digital studio, and printmaking studio. The theater has a lighting grid for stage lighting, sound and a projection screen. A major design element is the acoustical quality of the theater, including the protection of sound transfer to and from the residents living on the upper two floors of this historic mixed-use building. This Center is part of a larger neighborhood planning effort for the lower San Antonio Neighborhood along International Blvd.
