Located within the former Alameda Naval Air Station, OSA was the prime architect for the rehabilitation of twenty-seven units of historic single family dwellings, fifty garden apartment units, and a 1,500 s.f. resident community center.  

An extensive Pre-Design Report was prepared to determine the project budget. The single-family dwellings formed the core of a historic eligible district, and the renovation of the dwellings received historic approval through the Navy and State Historic Preservation Office.
