This adaptive re-use of an historic neighborhood commercial building into seven apartments and
2,900 s.f. of support services space for women with HIV and their children. The project included a large building addition attached to the existing, making the building fully accessible with a new 5-stop elevator and an outdoor roof terrace. The support services space has high indoor air quality by the introduction of natural ventilation coupled with a hydronic heating system
and low VOC interior paints.
