The Riverhouse Hotel project is a renovation of an historical building that contains 75 senior and special needs affordable units. Construction is anticipated to start in Summer of 2025. The structure is comprised of a main building with North and South wings and a West annex. Extensive ground floor remodeling will include converting 7 existing commercial spaces into 9 new residential units and supportive service offices for residents, along with ADA upgrades. Being located in a flood zone, mitigation measures include raising the first floor level of the residential portion within the main building. We overlaid photos of the original building with perspective dimensions to study and preserve the building’s historical aspects, namely the East and North street facing facades.
